Who We Are

Sew Shine was founded by Ashley Powell. For nearly two decades, Ashley has been fitness coaching people like you and me to live better versions of ourselves. When her oldest son graduated high school, she had the idea to create a t-shirt quilt from his major life events. This turned out so well, that she decided to do it for her second son's graduation.
Since then, friends of friends have sought her homemade creations. Today, Ashley is excited to open Sew Shine to those who have a keen eye for the boutique, and appreciation for the love that goes into each work of art. From bags to blankets, Sew Shine offers friends a platform to find the perfect gift for them (or you!). Sew Shine is continually seeking and inviting new brands to the platform, bringing a trusted curtated list of locals, designing and making beautiful things.
